It seems like every other day a lesson gets derailed in my class because of an agreement or misunderstanding that has happened. All of a sudden, a class discussion about how we handle these situations independently and with integrity is front and centre and that extra sport or art lesson you were planning all night gets thrown in that big pile on your desk.

Learning values has never been so important in the classroom. As teachers, we have an obligation must teach students all the values needed to become the best students they can be or how will they know?

Using this value Booklet in the classroom lets you go through each value recorded on a simple worksheet and with guided reading question prompts. All you need to do is find a book or video to coincide with each value.

How to use this product:

• In conjunction with a book sharing the same value. After the modelled read teachers use questions to have a class discussion and brainstorm ideas.
• As a starting point for class discussion.
• As part of your programming.
• Students can work through this booklet independently OR teachers can print each page individually and work through it as it is a class, recording student responses and posting around the classroom as reminders of 'Our Classroom Values'.
